“TRASTOS” brings together the work of young industrial designers under the umbrella of a design that questions and raises questions about current production systems, without dictating solutions, but suggesting different forms of use. Building on the undeniable Valencian heritage of the furniture industry and making as a celebration, they have sought to create a space where conversations around design, experimentation and appreciation are cultivated.

These designers have been allowed to understand ‘making’ not only as a profession, but as a form of expression, experimentation and, above all, celebration.

Not everything you will see there is perfect design, and that is what it is all about. Pieces ranging from doorknobs to lamps may seem unfinished or unconventional, but they capture the essence of experimentation, where failures are part of the journey.

With “TRASTOS” they are looking to experience design at its most joyful and exploratory, with the designers: Allca Rugs, Carla Alcalà, Cristina Omarrementería, Jana Tothill, Los Objetos Decorativos, Mario Montesinos, Ovidi Benet, Pablo Bolumar, Samuel H. Ramírez, Sandra Mar, Vale Objects and Vicent Orts.
