On Wednesday, 8 July, the València’s design agenda for September and October was unveiled in Madrid, showcasing the latest highlights of the València Design Fest and Feria Hábitat València agendas. The event marked a strategic alliance between the Design Foundation of the Region of Valencia and Feria Valencia, with the collaboration of ICEX.
Valencia will once again showcase its UNESCO designation as a City of Design and become an international hub for design through a month packed with activities celebrating the region’s creative and cultural industries. The city continues to strengthen its position as a global destination for design, supported by these organisations, which are once again presenting a comprehensive programme of events and milestones focused on design culture, the habitat industry, innovation, craftsmanship and architecture.
Forums, exhibitions, conferences, panel discussions, workshops and screenings, among many other activities, were presented during the event, which took place at ICEX headquarters in Madrid. Speakers included Xavi Calvo (Director of the Design Foundation), Daniel Marco (Director of Feria Hábitat València), Pablo Conde Díez del Corral (Director General for International Business Development at ICEX and member of the Organising Committee of Feria Hábitat València), Vicente Pons (President of the Organising Committee of Feria Hábitat València) and Luis Calabuig (Design Director and co-founder of Odosdesign), in the presence of leading public institutions, representatives of key sector organisations and a broad professional audience.
