One company alone is not enough to face the magnitude of the change we are facing and we need both from society and from the design and habitat industry. With this premise, Andreu World, together with the Fundació del Disseny, is organising a conference on responsible innovation, the circular economy and sustainability in product design.
Benjamin Wilson, Braun’s Global Technology & Design Communications Lead, will present the book with the design history behind Braun’s most iconic elements. A book that traces the defining moments of the company, its main identities and key people, together presenting the most comprehensive history of the German company ever published.
Through a dialogue between Benjamin Wilson and Jesús Llinares, CEO of Andreu World, the importance of a collective shift towards more responsible and environmentally friendly practices will be highlighted, seeking to inspire the adoption of greener approaches in industry, encouraging innovation and progress towards a positive impact on the planet.
This meeting is part of the Circular Design Challenge®, a challenge that Andreu World is leading globally under the slogan ‘Manufacturing a Better World’. This initiative promotes a new vision of more sustainable design, manufacturing and distribution while urging the need to adopt practices such as eco-design, waste management, carbon neutral footprint and the use of environmentally friendly materials.
