“Night at the Museum III”

“For the third consecutive year, the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia has offered LZF Lamps and Gandía Blasco the intervention of its non-exhibition spaces with an ephemeral project in which, through small installations, they have tackled a theme, a trend or current of thought from the field of design, with an approach that establishes a link with the museum.

This year they have focused on vegetation, beyond that present in the cloister, colonising the interior of the museum, generating a series of scenes based on biophilic design: a movement that proposes emulating and integrating natural elements in architecture and interior design because of their positive impact on people’s wellbeing.

As on the two previous occasions, LZF Lamps and Gandía Blasco Group have worked together on the conceptualisation and design of this intervention, in which this year another Valencian firm has also participated, Greenarea, which specialises in creating spaces and vertical gardens with preserved plants.

The scenes recreate exuberant and organicist environments that play with the limits between indoors and outdoors, designed with a heady mix of preserved plants, textile pieces and furniture of natural inspiration and handcrafted by Gandía Blasco Group, as well as organic design lamps, handmade with the characteristic wood veneer of LZF Lamps”
