On 23 September, the Joan Fuster Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Valencia will host the presentation of the publication “Critical studies on Valencian design” and the presentation of the website “Icons of Valencian design”.   

Organised by the Arxiu Valencià del Disseny of the Universitat de València and the EASD, together with the Fundació del Disseny de la Comunitat Valenciana, the book “Critical studies on Valencian design” and the website “Icons of Valencian design” will be presented at this event.  

The book is number 2 in the series “Quaderns de l’Arxiu Valencià del Disseny”. The volume brings together studies on 24 significant creations of Valencian design, covering the period from the late 19th century to the present day, and is accompanied by an introduction, bibliography and webography on the subject. Many of these studies were adapted to web format for the project ‘Icons of Valencian design’ and seven additional studies have been incorporated, extending categories to include interior design and fashion.
