On Wednesday, June 19, the design month of Valencia was presented in Madrid. In September, dozens of activities will come together with design as a catalyst.

The Design Foundation of the Region of Valencia, Feria Valencia and the Association of Valencian Designers have joined together in this action to present a complete program dedicated to design, culture, architecture and creativity in all its aspects. Valencia continues its purpose of positioning itself worldwide as an outstanding headquarters for design and it does so with the help of these 3 entities that we propose once again its own program of events and milestones linked to the culture of design, the habitat and decoration industry, as well as like crafts. During September and October, the sector’s leading fairs will meet in the city – Furniture, Fabrics and Kitchen together with the Nude show for emerging talents in design -, as well as a new edition of Valencia Design Fest and Valencia Disseny Week – 15th edition (VDW-15).

Forums, exhibitions, conferences, round tables, workshops or screenings, among many other activities, were presented at this event that took place at CaixaForum in Madrid, in which Xavi Calvo (director of the Design Foundation), Daniel Marco (director of Feria Hábitat Valencia) and Ramón Arnau (president of the ADCV), with the presence of important public entities, representatives of organizations in the sector and extensive professional support.
